Over 125 Administrators Attend Training at the OMHA AGM

Richmond Hill, ON. June 9th 2006 The Sheraton Hotel in Richmond Hill was the meeting place for over 125 OMHA centre administrators on Friday afternoon. They gathered to participate in an interactive and educational workshop put on by members of the ITSportsNet team.

This was the first time there was an event specifically dedicated to the administrators at the OMHA AGM. "It was a huge success. Administrators carry out a very important role and its great to see them getting the resources required to make them successful," stated David Cooper, President of ITSportsNet.

The first session, administrators learned about how to register players, build teams and submit them for approval. The second session focused on email communications, best practices for managing a website, and how to plan for online registration success. The third session focused on the future, unveiling the new services that will be available to administrators such as custom reports, Google maps integration, and a new hockey game sheet module.

Many of the attendees took advantage of the 1 on 1 Training Opportunity at the Robson Technologies Room. Ten workstations and four ITSportsNet staff were available for administrators to try out what they learned in the seminars "The room was packed for most of the afternoon and evening. It was great to see such an enthusiastic response to this event,"said Ron Weese, Regional Sales Director, ITSportsNet.

For the 2006/7, 56 OMHA centres have already signed on with ITSportsNet to enable their parents to register online through their website.
