  Soccer Mom

The term “Soccer Mom” has always been used to describe the mom who

  • Transports her kids to every practice and game
  • Screams at the top of her lungs “Go Team Go”
  • Threatens the officials
  • Instructs the coach on how to do his job
  • Comes equipped with lawn chair, umbrella, blanket and snacks
  • Runs on to the field whenever her child is hurt
  • Keeps the valium and Advil with her to keep from going nuts.

The new description of “Soccer Mom” is
  • Leaves the kids at home
  • Packs up her shin pads and soccer shoes
  • Ties back her hair
  • Runs through anyone or anything to get that ball into the net.

Times have changed from being a cheerleader to a player.
Women have evolved and no longer are contemplating recipes but getting everything done and off they go to play.

Soccer has given women the freedom to take on the sport usually reserved for men.

The Women’s National Team is now doing better than the men’s.

Oh what a relief,

  • Toss the valium,
  • Substitute it with exercise, fresh air,
and the pride of being a member of the team
  • and you have a healthier & happier
    Soccer Mom
