Welcome to the CSF Referees web site.

This section is designed to help and encourage your referee career development within District 4. Notes will be provided here regularly highlighting ASA directives, and local CSF information.

IMPORTANT NOTES

Referees officiating unsanctioned games.

Referees are reminded of the Alberta Soccer Association (ASA) General Rules and Regulations, Rule 13, Referees, Article E:

No ASA-registered referee may officiate in any unsanctioned game, competition or tournament, whether in or out of Alberta. Failure to comply will result in disciplinary action being applied to the individual concerned.

The Calgary Soccer Federation, as a member of ASA, supports and endorses this rule and will take action and back any such disciplinary action imposed by ASA where a referee is found in breach of this rule.

Referee Affairs Committee - standing Referee Representatives:

Both referee representative positions are vacant. Please contact ref.affairs@calgarysoccerfederation.com if you are interested in putting your name forward for one of the vacancies.

Local Referee Scheduler hands out schedules based on the RAC criteria. Please do not email the Referee Scheduler regarding your local game rating. These inquiries must be directed to your referee representatives at ref.affairs@calgarysoccerfederation.com

New pages have been added to fully explain the new initiatives to further support CSF referees.

RAC is looking for persons wishing to take part in the mentoring program. Those who wish to mentor and also wish to be mentored are invited to email the Chair.

For direct deposit please do one of the following:

o Send a void cheque to Doug Kipta at 414-1411 7th Ave N.W., Calgary AB, T2N 0Z3

o Email a copy of a void cheque to admin@calgarysoccerfederation.com and cc ref.payments@calgarysoccerfederation.com

o Go to your bank and get the bank to complete a form with their Bank number, Transit number and account number on it. Then send it in to the above address.

If you wish to be paid by cheque there is a $5.00 admin fee for each cheque. Payments are deposited or mailed on the 15th of each month for the previous months assignments.
