XFC - Tier I Soccer for Highland
XFC is inviting all players, parents and interested fans to a “State of the Club” meeting on March 30th, 2-4pm at the Sobey’s Indoor Complex in Stellarton. This is a chance for all to see the structure of the Club and our programming going forward. Because the Highland region is so large (stretching from Amherst to Guysborough) we face a unique set of challenges in bringing our top players together. We hope through this meeting, to provide a clear vision on how to grow the club and Elite player development in Highland. This is also a chance to ask questions, clear up rumors/misconceptions, and fully understand how XFC operates.
We hope that anyone with an interest in Tier I soccer will attend. Players are welcome as we will be playing 5v5 pick-up soccer. Refreshments and registrations will be available. Check out our website (www.xfcsoccer.org) or facebook page for up to the minute details.

March Break Camp 2014 - Register Now!
The 2014 March Break Camp is now accepting registrations - 4 days of learning and playing the great game of soccer for U10 to U12 players.

Goalkeeping Academy Accepting Registrations
The HDSA is offering weekly training opportunities for goalkeepers in the region from ages 10 and up. The 12 week program runs from Nov 28 to March 6 and costs $40 (includes a t-shirt from Bell Aliant).
The instructor is Jackie Ryan, a native of Stellarton, former CIS Goalkeeper with UNB & Dalhousie Universities, and player on various Sr.A teams across Nova Scotia. She is the current Head Coach of the Dalhousie AC Women’s College team and the Goalkeeper coach for the U12 Highland Regional Training Center.

U12 RTC 2013-14 Final Players Selected
The list of participants in the 2013-2014 Highland RTC have been selected and can be seen under "Regional Training Centre - 2013-14 Player Selection List"
The first session will be October 26 - 10am Boys; 11:15am Girls
U12 Regional Training Centre Evaluation Sessions Start Sept 14
Open Evaluation Sessions will be held on Sept 14th, 15th, 21st, 22nd in 4 Regions of the Highland District. The Final Evaluation will be held Sep 28th at HDSA Indoor Complex in Stellarton.

Indoor 2013-14 Programs-Registration Coming Soon!
The District and local Clubs are finalizing plans for indoor soccer programs for the fall-winter season. Depending on where you live, there are plans for programs for all ages - adult recreational play for the inexperienced, competitive senior leagues, and youth program that include both training and games.
