Mite/Squirt Tryouts Heads up parents! Get the hockey gear out and the skates sharpened. Mite and Squirt tryouts are right around the corner.
Tryouts will begin August 21,2010 and will end by August 28,2010. Tryout times and groupings are as follows:

 SYHA 6th Annual Golf Outing Friday July 16th, 2010 at Hawthorne Valley Country Club. Ticket price $100. 11:30-12:30 registration, driving range and lunch. 12:30 pm golf wth cart. 5:30 pm cocktails and awards. Registrations received after 7/1/10 are $110. Hawthorne Valley is quietly nestled in a unique Solon, Ohio setting. Just moments away from I-271 and Rockside Road, and a "par 5" distance from any eastern suburb, it is one of Cleveland's best kept secrets. SYHA/City of Shaker Heights Pre-registration and USA Hockey - It's that time again! This requires immediate attention. Pre-registration materials and dues must be in by Sunday May 9, 2010. USA Hockey Registration
As you may or may not be aware, part of your fees that were paid to the City of Shaker Heights for the
Fall/Winter Hockey program were used to register your child or children with the USA Hockey
Association. The City would complete all the registration forms and submit payment upon completion to USA Hockey.
For the 2010-2011 season, Shaker Youth Hockey will feature online registration which allows individuals to register directly
with USA Hockey through an Internet connection at www.usahockey.com. The USA Hockey Waiver is completed, and
USA Hockey and Affiliate fees (if applicable) are paid online with a credit/debit card. A confirmation email is sent to the member immediately after an online registration is completed. The members will then print out the confirmation receipt and bring it to
Thornton Park to complete the registration process for the Fall/Winter Season. Once you have completed your online
registration it is yours to keep and use as you may please.
