House League Hockey - Player Evaluations

Each child registered to play House Leage Hockey, with the GMHA, will participate in a 1 hour on ice evaluation session. The GMHA will be evaluating players based on the evaluation session and the previous year coach’s ratings if available.  After the evaluation process, each league (Novice, Atom Peewee and Bantam) will be tiered to allow individual players the opportunity to play at the appropriate skill level. The GMHA may also conduct follow-up evaluations during the first weeks of the House League Hockey season to ensure that participants become contributing members of a team effort, develop self-confidence, and experience a sense of personal achievement all within an atmosphere of fun and fair play.
 
The evaluation sessions for House League Hockey players registered in the following divisions will held on the following dates.

You will be called by a coach or convenor in your league, the week before the evaluation, to tell you when your child should attend.
