The Georgetown Minor Hockey Association along with Most Valuable Puck Inc. invites you to participate in our Annual “Best of the Best” Thanksgiving Hockey Challenge.  With over 1800 local boys & girls Georgetown has a long hockey history, and a passion for the game of hockey like few others.

We’ve teamed up with MVP Pucks and we’re going PUCK CRAZY!  We have tons of prizes so NOBODY goes home empty handed!  We’ll have Souvenir Pucks for First Goal of the Game, Game MVP’s, Shut Outs, Hat Tricks and more.  Also awarded will be plaques, medallions, mini-sticks, full colour – photo quality banners for champions....... and much, much more.

Upon arrival, you will be greeted by a member of our committee who can assist with your registration or simply answer your questions.  You should expect an efficiently run tournament that’s well organized… and FUN!

Only 10 minutes north of Hwy 401, and just 45 minutes from Downtown Toronto, this event is designed to attract the Best teams from across North America providing high calibre, intense competition.

This four-day extravaganza will be Unlike Any Other!  There’s lots of prizes, town activities, and events.  We’ve got close access to numerous hotels, a wide variety of restaurants and great destinations for team trips like the Hockey Hall of Fame or Niagara Falls!

Our Spectacular event is held on Thanksgiving weekend in October .  This Thanksgiving Tournament not only provides an early bird opportunity with “Best of The Best” competition, its a great time that still allows you to have fun outside.  In fact, this cities annual “Harvest Festival” also takes place where we celebrate the bounty of local produce right on our main street. There are stalls crammed with goodies - and craft vendors galore, Downtown Georgetown offers entertainment - with musicians, face painting, children’s programs and more.  Stores participate in a street long sidewalk sale and preview fall lines all decorated with pumpkins and corn stalks.
