Program Goals
Officials are vital to the continued success of soccer in our community. Port Coquitlam FC Soccer Association recognizes the importance of officials and strives towards the following goals:
- Instilling a sense of respect towards the game officials, in players at all age levels.
- Providing high quality officiating for every game hosted by the club.
- Continuous development of officials throughout the season.

Training and Qualification
Small-Sided
Due to overwhelming interest and limited spaces, applications for new small-sided referees (formerly Class 5) can no longer be accepted for the up-coming season.
Youth / District
Age: 14+
Required Training: Entry-Levelcourse (one time only) plus an annual refresher.
Eligibility: Referee for U9-U18, assistant referee (AR) / linesman for U14-U18 (depending on age and experience).
All Youth, District and higher level referees are reminded to complete your annual refresher. Dates and venues can be found at www.bcsoccer.net
