| Expected Behavior (By Players):
A. Practice Rules
v “When We talk, we expect you to be still and listen.” None of us wants to raise our voices to be heard over other conversations.
v “If you have questions or don't understand what we are doing, please ask.” We don't bite!
v “Listen to the directions for the drills.” We don't want to listen to ourselves over and over as we explain the drills to each player as they try to do the drill.
v “Everyone must follow all directions given by the coaches & assistant coaches.” This makes our practice run smoothly..
v “We expect everyone to make an effort to try their best to complete the drills.” Not everyone will be good at all of the drills but doing the drills right and over will build the skills you need to play the game.
v “Help each other out with drills and skills.” It teaches every one to work together and helps all players get better.
v “Disruptive or disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated.”
B. Game Rules v Play the game for the game's sake. Make it fun but compete. v Work for the good of your team. Include everyone in the game. v We expect everyone to be a good sport whether we win or lose. v Treat your opponents and opposing coaches with respect. v Be fair no matter what the cost. v Obey the rules of the game. v Accept the decisions of the officials. They are no different than you are and sometimes make mistakes. They are doing their best and like you with practice and experience they will get better.
C. Safety Rules
v Keep your hands to yourself.
v Do not kick the ball in the air unless the coaches tell you it is okay. If we aren't careful some one may get hit in the face.
v Dangerous behavior will not be tolerated.
