What does the Impact Club Soccer Program offer?
- Certified/Qualified Team Coaches
- Competitive teams in EIYSA Tier I and II, and EMSA Tier III
- Impact Academy - professional B Licensed guest Coaches work with Impact teams for additional training each season.
- Fitness training - professional instruction from qualified fitness instructors with a focus on pre-season fitness, then maintaining that level
- Goalkeeper training - weekly sessions at Riel on Friday nights with licensed and certified Staff Coaches
- GK gloves allowance
- Support from Graham Wood, SASA's Licensed Head Coach, currently also a Coach in the National Training Center Program and a member of the ASA's Technical Committee.
- Impact uniform jerseys on loan each season
- Discounted registrations for SASA tournaments
- Provincial berth at Provincials for our district
- Travel assistance for Provincials
- NO BINGOS
- Fundraising is at each team's discretion. Central club fundraising is not required.
- Full access to Riel's private soccer fields for practices and games
- Tier I and Tier II EIYSA teams play all home and some away games in St. Albert at RP Turf or Riel fields (Riel under construction in 2013, Eldorado fields designated interim)
- Tier III Development teams available at some ages
- Full access to SASA Clubhouse and it's facilities
- Support from knowledgeable office staff
- Team atmosphere - Coaches support each other and work well together
- Adult Impact Men and Women's teams available for guest players aged 15 and older
- Coach training and course costs are covered by SASA, with Coaches encouraged to pursue training
- Special Events with guest speakers: Mental Training, Sport Taping and First Aid, How to get recognized by U.S. College Coaches, nutrition seminars and more
- Transparency at tryouts. External Licensed Coaches are hired to assist as Independent Evaluators at tryouts to ensure all players are properly evaluated and considered for teams.
- Transparency with regards to fees. Impact fees are itemized and publicly presented prior to tryouts so families are aware of costs in advance. Season end reports are provided to coaches and team managers, with any left over funds not spent, being used towards offsetting program costs the following season.
- Payment plan available
- Registration assistance through Kidsport and Canadian Tire Jumpstart programs
- Additional player assistance to match family contributions for gear and/or Impact fees is available courtesy of 2 local businesses (must have qualified for Kidsport first)
