NEW - Boys U8 Select Team (Born 2004)

The Scarborough Blizzard Youth Soccer Club is currently forming a new U8 Boys’ Select Team for Boys born in 2004 to be headed up by Coach Farshad Yaqubi.  For information regarding try-outs and upcoming training please contact Coach Farshad at 416-856-3530 or via email at u8boys@blizzardsoccer.com.

The structure for soccer at the U8 level has been changed this year by the Ontario Soccer Association.  This age group will play 5 V 5 with a maximum of 10 on the team Roster.    
There are no standings kept.  The focus is to provide young players that have a passion for the game the opportunity to take their game to a higher level than the house league. The program provides advance coaching and Technical understanding in order to improve the player and the team.

U8’s will no longer be allowed to go to Tournaments or play formal games, so they will be playing Festivals  arranged through SCARDESO (Scarborough Development Soccer).  Any travel to other Districts will also be in the form of Festivals as well.
