Now that I have registered what happens next? Approximately the third week in May the coach should contact you and provide you with information. The club will also send an email with the team name and coaches contact information. Please save your Coach's name and phone number down for reference purposes.
When does the house league season begin? The season will kick off on May 27, 2018 for the Mini-Mites and PeeWee Divisions, May 28 Elite Division, May 29 Squirt Division and May 30 Mosquito Division – NO GAMES are played this week. Uniform handout and meet the coaches only. Some coaches will have practices this week, each individual coach will confirm with their respective teams.
When does the house league season end? Depending on playoff standings some teams will have their season end the second week in August, where other teams will play until the third week in August. Championship games are on Saturday, August 24, 2019.
When is PICTURE DAY? Photos for individual players and teams - Saturday, June 29, 2019.
What night is my son/daughter playing? This depends on age and division. Proposed game night and divisions have been posted, until registration is closed it is not normally known until late April early May what the finalized nights and divisions are. The coach determines practice nights.
I am a first time player what do I need? Included in the registration fee all players will receive: a numbered team jersey, shorts and socks when they meet their coach. You will need to provide soccer shoes and shin guards. Shin guards are MANDATORY for both games and practice.
What do we bring to the game? Wear your complete uniform. It is important that the player brings plenty of water (considered best for children) for the game regardless of weather. Please bring water in reusable (not disposable) containers. Sunscreen is also highly recommended for protection during games.
Can I register by phone? NO, you cannot register by phone. You can register: in person on the scheduled Registration dates, on-line or by mailing in the completed registration form along with the appropriate fee. FEE: $190.00 until February 28, $210.00 until May 1 and $235.00 after.
What is your refund policy? A $50.00 administration charge is applied to all refunds. NO refunds after April 30.
Can I request that my child is on the same team as _____? or with a specific coach? When registering your child indicate on the form your request. Keep in mind not all requests will be granted. We would prefer that our players meet new friends and that all teams are competitive within the division and that the outcome of a particular game is based on effort and skill on that day.
Where is the field located? Glen Ravine Soccer Field, 55 Gilder Drive. Midland and Eglinton area. Field is located behind Jean Vanier High School which is located at 959 Midland Avenue.
How can I help? We are looking for volunteer coaches and Assistant Coaches. Fill out a coaches application and drop it off. If you have a child that is going to play, you will be assigned to their team.
How do I Sponsor a team(s)? Fill out a sponsorship form and submit it to the club along with payment. Sponsors who have children playing will be assigned sponsorship to that team.
