A message from Jim Henry,
ACHA Women’s Division Vice President
Dear ACHA Women's Teams,
Hello, my name is Jim Henry and I am the new ACHA Women's Division Vice-President. For those of you who don't know me, let me tell you a little bit about myself. I grew up in the Buffalo, NY area and started playing hockey at the age of 7. I went on to play 4 years at The University at Buffalo (ACHA Division 1). After graduation I was the head coach of the UB Women's team for 4 years, and I was the ACHA Women's Division Coach of The Year for 2001-2002. For the last 3 year I have served as the GM and advisor for the UB Women's team, I have coached in a local youth organization and have served as the commissioner of the Eastern Collegiate Women's Hockey League. This past year I was the local tournament director for the ACHA Women's National Tournament. I'm very much looking forward to serving as the VP of the Women's Division.
I would like to ask all of the member teams to email me what they think the mission statement for the Women's Division should be. I'm hoping to get some good feedback from all of the member teams. It should be a great season, please let me know if I can do anything for you.
ACHA Women's Division VP
