Nova Scotia Provincial Exhibition (NSPE) Agridome, Bible Hill, Nova Scotia
From Amherst or Halifax, follow Highway 102, take EXIT 14 (Robie Street Irving), head east on Highway 2 (Robie Street). At second set of lights, turn LEFT on to Marshland Drive (by Sears Mall). Follow Marshland Drive to four-way stop (this is the location of the Tim Horton's soccer field). Turn LEFT on to Park Street. Follow Park Street across bridge and railroad tracks to lights at Main Street. Turn RIGHT on to Main Street; follow Main Street to Ryland Avenue (last left BEFORE lights at Pictou Road). Turn LEFT on to Ryland Avenue, drive about 1 km to Raceway/NSPE entrance on LEFT. Agridome is large white building directly ahead; entry is at the NORTH end of the Agridome, by the raceway.
From Pictou-Cape Breton area, follow Pictou Road, from which you will gain access from Exit 17 on Highway 104. Follow Pictou Road to Main Street ('downtown' Bible Hill); turn RIGHT on to Main Street, next RIGHT on to Ryland Avenue. Alternately turn RIGHT on Vimy Avenue and LEFT on to Ryland Avenue.

Turn left (North) at second set of lights on to Willow Street (Tim Hortons at intersection); follow Willow Street to Best Western Glengarry (at lights). Turn right (East) on to Arthur Street. Follow Arthur Street to end (turns into Esplanade); sharp left turn (North) on to Walker Street. Drive straight through two sets of lights to Main Street, cross bridge into Bible Hill. Turn right (East) on to College Road at Cavanagh's Food Market. Follow College Road to NSAC (less than 1km). FOLLOW PARKING SIGNS TO PARKING AREA ON RIGHT (SOUTH), across the street from the field. (Before the NSAC Residences; main entrance on left). NO PARKING ALONG COLLEGE ROAD - CARS WILL BE TICKETED!
From Pictou: Exit 17, off Highway 104. Turn left (West) off highway exit on to Pictou Road toward Truro. Travel West toward Bible Hill/Truro; follow Pictou Road to NSAC. Turn left (South) past NSAC Cox Institute Building/NSAC sign on to Cumming Drive; follow to stop sign. Turn RIGHT (West) on to College Road; FOLLOW PARKING SIGNS TO PARKING AREA ON LEFT (SOUTH), across the street from the field (Behind the NSAC Residences). NO PARKING ALONG COLLEGE ROAD - CARS WILL BE TICKETED! |

Turn right (South) on to King Street; at first four-way stop, cross railroad tracks, parking and field located on right side, across from St. Mary's Elementary School (extra parking at school across road, if necessary). |

From Halifax: Exit 13 off Highway 102; turn right (East) toward Truro. Turn left (North) at lights on to Willow Street (Tim Horton's at intersection); follow Willow Street to Best Western Glengarry (lights). Turn right (East) on Arthur Street. Follow Arthur Street to end (turns into Esplanade); sharp left (North) turn on to Walker Street. Straight through two sets of lights to Main Street; cross bridge into Bible Hill. Turn right (East) on to College Road at Cavanagh's Food Market. Follow College Road to Guest Drive on right (South) side, just past Bible Hill Recreational Park. Entrance to Bible Hill Recreational Park is off Guest Drive. Field is located South of ball fields.
If coming from Amherst or Pictou, take Exit 17 off Highway 104. Coming from West (Amherst), turn right (South) off highway exit, then right on to Pictou Road at stop sign toward Truro. Coming from East (Pictou), turn left (West) off highway exit on to Pictou Road toward Truro. Travel west toward Bible Hill/Truro. At the intersection of Pictou Road and Wright Avenue, turn South on to Wright Avenue (Tim Horton's). At end of Wright Avenue is College Road intersection (and Recreational Park is directly across street). Turn east onto College Road, then quick turn onto Guest Drive (next street on right). Park entrance is off Guest Drive. |
BROOKFIELD ELEMENTARY, BROOKFIELD, NOVA SCOTIA:
Take Exit 12 off Hwy 102, turn East toward Brookfield. Stop sign at Highway 2 intersection; go straight on Highway 289. School is about 1.5 km up the road, on left side.
Brookfield Field #1 is next to road before the new high school.
Brookfield Field #2 is behind the Elemenary School further East. |
CENTRAL COLCHESTER JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL (ONSLOW) FIELD:
From Halifax: Take Exit 14A off Highway 102. Turn left (West) at stop sign. School is the first building on right (North) across overpass.
If traveling from Amherst/Pictou, you must pass field first, then turn off Highway 102 South at Exit 14; head toward Truro, go under overpass, then immediately back on to Highway 102 heading North (left turn before Irving). Follow Highway 102 North to Exit 14A, turn left (West) at stop, school on right (North) across overpass. |
TIM HORTON'S COMMUNITY FIELD, TRURO, NOVA SCOTIA:
From Halifax: Take Exit 14 off Highway 102. Turn right on to Robie Street toward Truro.
If traveling from Amherst/Pictou, turn off Highway 104 on to Highway 102 toward Halifax, then turn off Highway 102 at exit 14 and head East toward Truro.
Follow Robie Street to second set of lights at Marshland Drive (be in left-hand lane to turn). Turn left on to Marshland Drive, follow this road behind the mall until you come to a four-way stop. Continue straight through stop sign; field is next left. |
TRURO JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL FIELD, TRURO, NOVA SCOTIA:
From Amherst or Halifax: take Exit 13 off Highway 102; from Halifax, turn EAST toward Truro. Turn RIGHT (South) at lights on to Willow Street (Tim Horton's at intersection). Follow Willow Street to Glenwood Drive (just across railroad tracks). Turn LEFT (East) on to Glenwood Drive; follow to end (stop sign at Young Street). Turn RIGHT (South) on to Young and drive about 0.75 km to school on LEFT.
From Pictou/Antigonish: take Exit 17 off Highway 104. Turn left (West) off highway exit on to Pictou Road toward Truro. Follow Pictou Road to end, intersection with Main Street. Turn LEFT on to Main Street, follow under railway, over bridge, STRAIGHT through lights at McDonald's/Wilson's Gas Stop on to Walker Street. STRAIGHT through lights at Dairy Queen/Royal Bank, Walker Street then takes sharp right turn, and becomes Arthur Street. Turn LEFT on to Young Street at second set of lights (end of Esplanade Mall); follow Young Street to top of the hill; school is on the left, about 0.75 km past Needs/Ultramar.
Field is behind the school; closest parking in summer is the 'bus driveway' (i.e., the second driveway). |
WOOD STREET FIELD, TRURO, NOVA SCOTIA
Follow Prince Street East (one-way) to intersection with Dairy Queen and Royal Bank; go straight through lights and over tracks. First right past gas station (Wood Street). Up hill to last house on left. Field on left across open area; follow path by fence to soccer field. |
