Game Structure / Rules
CC Riders Soccer Club 2013
CSA National Game Structure for Under 10
 1.          Number of players on the field 7 versus 7 - including GKs (6 out players + GK)
 2.          Maximum team size        13 to 15 Players 
 3.          Single gender Male and female teams have separate leagues
 4.          Game duration & substitutions 2 halves of 25 minutes
 5.          Ball size 4
 6.          Field size 36 m x 55 m (35-40 x 55-60 yards - marked off by coaches' steps) 
 7.          Goal size 12 feet x 6.5 feet (Goal area marked off in a semi-circle) 
*players can score inside the area
*goalies can throw or kick the ball out to players
 8.          Off sides NO
 9.          Throw-ins YES 
 10.        Corner kicks YES
 11.        Referees YES - Junior refs (Level 5 or approved by CCRSC ref coordinator)
 12.        Free Kicks / Goal Kicks YES - direct & indirect (according to FIFA rules)
** Note - changes to any of these guidelines can be applied by coaches / referees at the game, based on situations that arise (i.e., one team with less players), as long as both coaches and the referee agree
