PTSC Cruisers The Division 6 Regional Girls travelled to Yorkton, SK on the September long weekend to compete in the 2005 Yorkton United Fall Classic. The girls competed against teams from Yorkton, Moosejaw and Oakbank. The Cruisers faced the Yorkton Premier Girls in the semi-final game which was their 4th game within 24 hours. Spectators and coaching staff were treated to an absolutely spectacular comeback. The Cruisers, playing with injuries and exhaustion, were down 4-1 at half-time. But, the girls dug deep and battled back to tie the game 5-5 at the end of regulation time. The game remained tied after two overtime halves and although the Cruisers fought hard to win, they were unfortunately defeated in a shootout. Both coaching staff and parents are extremely proud of the way the girls played the game with heart and determination. They represented PTSC with class and were awarded the sportsmanship medal for the tournament.

PTSC Raiders
The PTSC Raiders proved to themselves that never giving up is the key to success. Twice in the Phoenix tournament, they found them selves down by two goals. Against the Bonivital team, the Raiders had 0 and Bonivital had 2 goals with 20 mins left in the game. After some intense refocusing the Raiders came back to win 3 to 2 which got them into the semi-finals. The final against SEU Forsley was just as intense especially after having two goals called off but they kept their focus and triumphed winning 2-1. The Raiders are now focused and ready for the Playoffs.
The Division 6 Premier Girls, Portage Trail Spirit travelled to Grand Forks this past weekend to play in the Grand Cities Soccer Tournament. They competed with teams from Grand Forks, Fargo, Crookston, and South Dakota. They went to the final to play against a team that had defeated them the day before. The game went into two ten minute over time periods and penalty kicks and the Portage Trail Spirit are the 2005 Grand Cities U 14 Champions. A great time was had by all.

The Division 6 Premier Boys - PTSC White Knights - have just come back from a great tournament in Saskatoon, where they won the Championship in their age category. Way to Go Boys!

Congratulations to the player's and coaches on the Division 8 Girls Competetive team with their success at the BoniVital Tournament, May 13 - 15th. They won the Championship in their age category against South End United, with a final score of 1-0.
