The D7 Premier Girls attended the Schwan’s USA Cup. The girls first match was against a team from Plymouth MN. They triumphed by a margin of 2 to 1. The following Day they met a team  from Barrington Illinios, again they triumphed  by a score of 1 to 0. Wednesday we faced a team that was 2 and 0  and very skilled. They defeated us a score 4 to 0. For the quarterfinals on Thursday we met the Plymouth team again. We entered the second half tied and ended up short in a 2 to 1 game. Great improvement in the team has resulted from their experience. The team represented Portage Trail with grace and class.
