Some questions were brought up during the question and answer period. Here are some of those that were frequently asked:
Q. Are jersey numbers mandatory?
A. No, but please enter them into the system if you have them available.
Q. I already submitted my rosters that had signatures on them, do I need to collect signatures on the new electronic rosters?
A. No, if you have already submitted signed rosters you can use these rosters for the season. However, you must still enter the players into the database and roster those players to their teams electronically.
Q. Do I need to submit a copy of my electronic roster with signatures on it to the OWHA.
A. Yes. Once a roster has been approved electronically, print it out and have it signed and sent back to the OWHA.
Q. Do all team officials need to sign the roster?
A. Yes, all team officials need to sign the roster in the signature box provided.
Q. Why is the system asking me for Health Insurance numbers for members?
A. The system does not require the Health Insurance (OHIP) numbers for members. Eventually this field will be removed as the OWHA does NOT want to collect this information. Just disregard the field for the time being.
Q. Can team officials be rostered to more than one team?
Q. How many team officials can be rostered to a team?
A. As many as necessary.
